Licensed Rehabilitators

We would like to make everyone aware that only licensed rehabilitators can have possession of wildlife. Licensed rehabilitators have completed the required training and have been inspected and approved by Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries & the United States Wildlife and Fisheries (for avian rehabilitators). Always ask to see the persons LDWF and/or USWF license to verify. If person can not provide the proper identification then you can contact LDWF at 225-763-8584 before relinquishing any wildlife to an individual.
